NY Reads breakdown

NY Reads is a diverse and inclusive simultaneous access collection of over 1,300 eBook and audiobooks purchased by 33 BOCES and Big 5 Districts throughout New York State.

The collection includes a variety of fiction and nonfiction titles to meet the individual and academic needs of learners across the state.

NY Reads - started July 1, 2021

 

  • 27 BOCES School Library Systems are confirmed partners in this collaboration
  • The new state wide platform will show up and be fully searchable just like your local public library is
  • The above mentioned group will be purchasing unlimited simultaneous use items through OverDrive
  • Everything will be purchased as a one year subscription that will need to be renewed on an annual basis
