Apple Teacher
Apple Teacher is a free professional learning program designed to support and celebrate educators using Apple products for teaching and learning. As an educator you can build skills on iPad and Mac that directly apply to activities with your students, earn recognition for the new things you learn, and be rewarded for the great work you do every day.
BrainPOP Certified Educator Program
To become a Certified BrainPOP Educator, attend an blended training workshop or online course with the BrainPOP Educators team, fulfill supplemental requirements and participate in our online community.
Common Sense Educator Recognition
There are 4 steps to earn this recognition: Learn, Do, Reflect, Apply. To meet the Learn requirement you must complete a common sense PD or Webinar. To complete the Do requirement you must teach a class using specific Common Sense lesson plans. Reflect is part of the application process and they ask you to comment on your experience. Apply is a 5 minute survey you fill out. Should take less than 6 hours total to complete everything.
Flocabulary Master Certified Educators
Flocabulary MC (Master Certified) Educators are passionate teachers and administrators who have seen the impact Flocabulary has made on their students. From schools and districts around the country, they love to connect with other educators to share and learn about Flocabulary. And as extended members of our team, they are committed to our mission to increase academic achievement and foster a love of learning in every student.
Google for Education Certification
There are four levels of training; Educator 1, Educator 2, Certified Trainer, Certified Innovator. The courses are free but the tests to again the certification are not.
ISTE Certification
Through the ISTE Certification process, teachers will participate in professional learning based on the ISTE Standards and transformative pedagogy. After completing the training, participants have six months to apply their learning and compile artifacts and reflections into a competency-based portfolio to earn ISTE Certification.
MakerBot Certification
There are two levels. Level one is MakerBot Operator which teaches participants to master 3d printing. Level two is MakerBot Curriculum Creator which aims to make students become STEM leaders. Courses can be done in an online self paced class or in a blended learning environment.
Makey Makey Certified Educator
In this one day (5 hour) workshop you’ll explore how basic circuits work, use paper and pencil to create drawings that speak, build pressure sensitive switches from cardboard, and make clever inventions that solve real world problems.
Microsoft Certified Educator
The Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) certification validates that educators have the global educator technology literacy competencies needed to provide a rich, custom learning experience for students.
My Minecraft Journey
My Minecraft Journey is an introductory course for educators wanting to learn how to use Minecraft: Education Edition in their classroom. The course includes eight lessons that walk you through how to get started using Minecraft: Education Edition in the classroom.
