TitleWise Collection Analysis In-Service - 10/15/2025 recap
Titlewave/TitleWise
- You can upload your MARC records to Titlewave by following one of these paths:
- With Destiny
- Go to Destiny >> Back Office >> Catalog >> Titlewave >> Submit Collection
- Wait for the report to complete
- In Titlewave, go to Your Account >> TitleWise Analysis
- With OPALS
- Download your MARC records from OPALS
- In Titlewave go to Your Account >> TitleWise Analysis >> Upload your MARC records

- Use the TitleWise analysis to help you target your weeding throughout the year
- Once you upload your collections to TitleWise you can do more with Titlewave!
- Follett Tags: Explore items you already own
- Complete your series
- Remove titles you already own
- Doing more with Follett Titlewave's List tool
- Sharing lists:
- Go to your list and hit the Share button
- Add any Titlewave usernames in the box >> Continue to share!
- Share to me at 9601194bf
- Adding notes/Do Not Exceed
- Select More Options >> Edit List Name & Notes >> Add your DNE or any additional notes
- Deep Dive your List
- Tag Explorer
- Check out how your list compares to Follett's Tag feature
- Go to your list and click "Analyze" to make sure your list meets the needs of your student population
- Use "More Options" to bulk-add first-choice status
- More Options >> Select >> All Items—then choose all items as 1st choice if that's your preference!
- A great way to ensure that student and teacher requests get filled first
- Merging Lists
- Go to Saved Lists >> See All Lists
- On the right of one list go to Options >> Merge
- Select the lists you want to merge on the next page
- Name the new list and add any notes
- Keep the original lists just in case!!
- This is a great way to go from multiple lists (student requests, teacher requests, award winners, etc.) to one master list for ordering!

Genre and Sublocations
- I've attached a few genre docs to help with updating your processing specs
- You can identify the genres you want to have in your libraries
- Send the completed Genre Order Form information to me and I can add genre to your Titlewave accounts!
- Genre will then be added to your MARC records' sublocation for easy searching via your LMS
- Once you weed, you can apply genre sublocations to your entire collection
- We can also send you a Genre Helper Report to assist in genrefication!
